Summer Fishing was off the hook this week

The Morehead City fishing charters had unbelievably calm weather this week and we found a bunch of hungry fish to go with it.  This week ended a 14 day straight stretch of charters for me, glad to have the people coming fishing no doubt, but a day for rest is fine.  On the half day fishing charters we were still able to put together nice catches of spanish mackerels with a wild card king mackerel mixed in.  On the 3/4 day fishing charters, we fished in the 15 mile range and found loads of bait and plenty of hungry king mackerels to bite our hooks; limits of kings on both days.  Saturday, I had a great group from Virginia (Chad, Channing, Allen and Hunter) and they filled the box on the full day bottom fishing trip.  Gag groupers, cobia, black sea bass, grunts, trigger fish, kings.....  I'm super thankful to everyone that's come fishing so far this year, hope July keeps the good luck rolling.  Check out some of the pictures from the past few trips.
