Shallow water groupers open May 1, hopefully with some cooperation from the wind, we’ll have some great catches on the bottomfishing charters. Black Sea bass, vermillion snappers, triggerfish and others in the reef fish complex generally make up the fish box. Still plenty of availability scattered throughout the month of May.
