OCTOBER GROUPERS

Chuck Bush has been fishing with me for I believe going on 6 years now and still shows up pumped to go, even more than the last time.  The guys are dead set on bottom fishing, they love the stand-off pull of a nice gag grouper and I can't blame them.  Yesterday, we had a nice steady NE wind but..... there was a extra strong SW current running straight into the wind making the anchoring and fishing process a bit more difficult than it needed to be.  None the less, the guys stuck it out and we fished and moved all day, finally putting together a respectable catch consisting of gag groupers, amber jacks, grunts, black sea bass, trigger fish and a few others.  There's a pretty stout weather front coming today and tomorrow, keeping us tied to.  Fingers crossed to be back after them on Friday and Saturday.  I've still got plenty of availability for October and November fishing charters.
