The Neuse River Old Drum fishing is winding down for the year. Fishing has been pretty good again this year, with double digits being a pretty common thing for some groups this season. The biggest that was caught and released this year was 51", which is an absolute tank of a red drum. The majority of the fish fall in the NC citation program, deeming them "trophy" status.
